I have an 88 Dakota 5 speed with 63000 miles. It was running perfectly and then a few weeks ago started to idle rough when cold and when it warms up it stalls at intersections etc. I installed a rotor,cap,wires,plugs,o2 sensor, pcv valve and fuel filter. What is going on??? It feels like a vacum leak but I cannot locate one near the carb. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I know it's been a few months since you posted this, but I just bumped into the message.

I had the same proble and I thought it was the fuel pump. It turned out to be the distributor pickup. A fairly inexpensive fix.

hope this heslps

I'm having the same problem with my 91 318 Sport, except for the stalling.

Yeah, I have a 94 Dak and have the same problem, especially when you barely push on the gas. I also had an 88 dakota, and it did same thing...Will try distributor parts. Thanks
