Subject: white smoke IP: Logged
Message: When I first start up my 99 5.2 I have white smoke/seam coming out of the tail pipe... it only lasts for a few seconds..... what is this? is this a warning of a problem?

Black smoke = fuel
Sounds to me like you're getting some oil in the in the cylinders while it sits

Message: White smoke comes from anti-freeze burning in a cylinder. You may have an intake manifold leak or cracked head.
