Subject: Where did it all go? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2003 Dak with the 4.7 engine and a manual tranny. It has been nothing but problems from the beginning. The latest is what I'm wondering about.
Last week I couldn't get it into gear without using a ton of force. The car has less than 20,000 miles on it, and I've alvays had stick shifts, so I ruled out the clutch initially. I turned the car off and it shifted fine. Now I was back on the clutch. I did some thinking and then found it had absolutely no fluid for the hydrolic clutch. I filled it up and my clutch worked properly. It actually took a few days for it to be all the way better. It has been 6 days and the fluid level hasn't gone down, so I don't think there is a leak. So my question is where did all the fluid go?
