Message: Hollow Spark Plug Wires-
When cleaning your spark plug wires with Spark Cleaner just isn't enough - you need new plug wires! Unique "hollow" design wires allow ignition molecules to flow freely from your distribution point to your motor apex! Why even bother with those metallic spark plug wires? Comes in yellow, red, green, and blue. Hollow Wires never need cleaning.

Message: The real answer is, you can't. You can make small improvements by driving like an old lady, synthetic fluids, bed cover, etc. But the bottom line, your truck (like mine) is a pig. It burns fuel like a Haitian road block. Get used to it. It is what it is. If you want something real fuel efficient, get a Honda. I just drive like a normal person (not Mario), pay for fuel, and don't worry about it.

Message: Preach it brother!
The best solution is to get one of those cash back gas cards. I get speedway cards and a % goes into my kids tuition.
900 miles a week commuting + 4.7 liters = a lot of freakin gas money.

Message: Two easy ways, remove the clutch fan and go electric (good for 2mpg city or highway), also bump up the timing.
Bed cover doesn't appear to help much and the only oils that I have seen make a difference is the differential fluids.

Message: Try to not let the RPM go much over 2200. I get 17 MPG on regular gas and 18.5 on premium. It can be done, unless you want to pass or speed up on an on-ramp. The MPG average is measured by the on-board overhead computer while driving 50% city and 50% highway. I have larger tires too, so I would adjust these by 5-10%.
If I don't watch the gauges, the computer tells me that I get around 14 MPG.

Message: If you have different tires on, then the overhead computer is not accurate at all for gas mileage. Unless you have your PCM adjusted for the larger tires. You are actually traveling more miles than your computer thinks, so actually getting worse gas mileage.
