Message: I was doing research on this very topic two weeks ago for my 00 club cab 4x4. Yes they will fit, and you must use the instalation kit for a factory install. Another idea and cheaper is swap your 889 bulbs for 885's. 50 watts versus 38, and heck of a lot brighter

Message: I bought the Piaa mounting kit because I was adding lights, not replacing them. The only piece I used was the L brackets, in the stock location.
Then I had to bend them almost wide open.

Is that true?

Message: If anyone is interested in replacing their stock Fog lights, go to Vehiclelighting.com! I spoke with a Rep. there and he says they have filled many orders for Dakota owners and they seem to work really well. They make'em in either fog or driving lenses and clear ones are $44.95. They are glass lenses to so no plastic, Plus its an H3 bulb..more choices. Im gonna get them eventually.
Hope this helps

Message: What kind of replacement light bulb is best for simply replacing the existing front light bulb with a super bright (Xenon style) bulb? Cool Blues? Something from PIAA? What?
I just want the coolest light bulbs available and preferrably for a pretty cheap price.
