Subject: PCV valve on which bank? IP: Logged
Message: Does this hundreds of time, but this is throwin me for a loop. I replaced my PCV valve months ago, replaced the valve on the passenger side valve cover, it matched up...so I mindlessly replaced it. Just came across a diagram showing showing the PCV valve on the driver's side bank. What the hell? Is this right? If so, wonder if I should leave it...

Message: the connection on the driver's side is just an elbow (thats what it was on my 98 3.9L I had... the PCV is in the passenger side.... I kinda broke the elbow when I had my 3.9L, and I just used a longer hose and a small hose clamp :-)

Message: The PCV valve is on the passenger side. The PCV air intake hose from air cleaner to valve cover is on the driver's side.
