I've got an 02 Quad 4x2 with Hankook Ventus ST RH06 275/60-16, about an inch wider than the 255/65-16's that come stock on the truck. No rubbing, but I could probably go a little wider.

The most asked question of all, I swear.
No problem...just an observation.
Answer: 31x10.5 will not rub at all.
32x11.5 will rub slightly at full turn but that can be fixed with a little "plastic" trimming in the wheel well.

YOU CAN USE a 3 inch muffler bearing.
