Message: I want to install clear turn signal lenses on my '04 Dakota but all
the ones I find are for up to '03. Is there a difference or will
these work?

Message: They should all work, just the ease of installation will vary. From what I hear older model clear corner lenses for our trucks had one of the bulb housings shaped for certain model years of truck that had a different sized parking light bulb socket. If you ended up with one of these for your 04 with a newer parking light socket, it would require splicing of a couple wires to add in the replacement socket that comes with the kit that fits the housing on the older lense.
Newer ones that fit 03s should work with the 04s. I ordered mine from Makoto auto trends off ebay but you can also order directly from their web site. It was a strictly plug-and-play operation, 20 minutes for both sides from beginning to finish. Unscrew the one screw that holds the corner lense in, then slide it off the brackets that brace it in place. Pull each of the bulbs out of their openings in the lense, then pull them out of their sockets and replace the clear bulbs with amber bulbs if your state requires them to be legal. Then simply reverse the process, strategically dabbing silicone sealent around the socket openings and the edges of the lenses to seal out moisture. I hear it's similarly easy with the PRo-Car-Parts clear corners too.
The APCs were never an option for me, as many of them now come with a small but noticable and ugly amber reflector to meet state laws. And If Id wanted a big splotch of amber visible on the corners I wouldn't be looking to replace to stock ones in the first place.
Go here for a much more detailed description.
