I have an 02 cc AWD with 86000 miles on it. But it has started to creek or moan only when I turn right. Any ideas would be nice. THX

Dry ball joints.

Give your truck more time and it will start moaning and creaking
when you do something as little as lower the tailgate.

I forgot to tell you that I have replaced the ball joints with Moog's and they're not dry.

My squeaking and moaning was the bushings for the sway bar up front. Replaced them at 14k, 28k, 35k under warranty. Warranty ran out, they started acting up again at 44k, but now with 49k, the sounds are subsiding. I'm thinking the cold weather might be toning down the orchestra up front.

For the squeeking sway bar bushings you need to simply grease them with a teflon grease or a good heavy CV joint type grease. Once they're greased they will be nice and quiet for about 6 months or so. I do mine twice a year whether they are making noise or not. I was thinking about drilling a hole, grinding a groove and installing a zerk fitting to grease them up easier than removing them, but I don't think it will work the way I would like it to.
