Message: Hi is there anyone who can help me? I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota and my brake light wont turn off. There is plenti brake fluid and the park brake switch works fine. Thanks Tyffi

Message: The switch works by grounding the light. Therefore, if evrything seems to working fine, check that the wire going to the brake splitter valve isn't grounded(SHORTED) to the frame or body somewhere along the line. Also, check that the wire going to the park brake switch is also not pinched or rubbed thru somewhere. Remember, the light may also be warning you of some kind of hydraulic failure within the brakes, so check it carefully.Hope this helps.
