Subject: 1996 Dakota Sport Engine IP: Logged
Message: I recently received a 1996 dodge dakota sport from a family member. The truck is a 2.5L 4 Cylinder. It does not run that well. It will sometimes cut off at stops.
Stuff I am going to replace:
1)Spark Plugs
2)Air Filter
3)Plug Wires
4)Distributor Cap
5)Rotor Button
What else could i do to make the engine run better? Thanks for all of the responses in advance.

Message: I replaced the Downstream O2 Sensor because the check engine light came on. The error code was to replace the downstream 02 sensor. The other O2 Sensor is pretty new as well. I think it was replaced not too long ago.

Message: Try replacing the sensor module in the distributor
the wires have a tendancy to break internally.
the module costs about $35
