Is the K&N FIPK 2 the best filter for a 4.7 in a 00 Dakota CC 4x4.? I really want to invest in some type of air intake system, and I have seen so many, but havent been impressed with much, this one seems kinda expensive compared to others, but is it worth the money?

Its hard to say which cold air kit is the best. K&N does have dyno results on their website for a stock 4.7. Their customer service is also the best around. Do you have any other mods done to your truck? I think the dyno results are about 7 hp for the FIPK. Any cold air intake will also make your truck much louder compared to the stock set up. Its a matter of taste.

No other mods on my truck. Just bought it last week with 37k miles and I want to put some kind of intake on it, and i know that some cone filters make a loud sucking noise, but I want some kind of intake that gets rid of that stock box.
