I wasnt sure when to go have my tranny serviced by the dealer (Stealer). I have a 99 SLT 5.2. It has approx 91K. I bought this truck 1 year ago and have driven it to death. I am not sure when it was done last but I wanted to get the fluid changed, filter changed, and bands adjusted. It currently has no problems shifting, etc. I was just wondering what everyone thought.....

Trannys flushs are always good. Dealers reccoment every 30k It can go longer IMO tho. Ive seen some flushes clear out some nasttty stuff.

Does anyone know a good transmission shop in the So.Cal. area. I need a full service and a TransGo shift kit. Any good auto shop should be able to do it. So name a good shop in your area, not only here in SoCal.
