Subject: creaking noise when braking IP: Logged
Message: i've been getting a funny creaking noise when i've been braking. It happens when in park or while driving. Its usually to short creaks sounds one right after the other as I press down on the brake. Any ideas anyone? I've already brought the truck if for the intermediate steering shaft, and bearing in the steering column. My truck is a 2003.

Message: No its not very loud. Its just kind of annoying too me. Sounds like its coming from some where around the break pedal area, but i can't pin point it. Maybe i'll bring it in to the dealership. Mines real good and i know i won't be charged for anything.

Message: I had noises in the front-end like creaking while turning slow and pressing the brake and it turned out dealer greased the brake pad slides and no more creak. I thought they were nuts when they suggested that but it worked and no more noise. This was even after they put new control arms on both sides.
