Message: I personally have a Linex liner, but pretty much the same thing. The big difference is that the rhino is more rubbery and will tear easier. Either one is 1000% better than any plastic liner you can buy. I had a plastic liner when I bought my truck. Under it the paint was all rubbed off from the bed rails, tail gate, and the bed itself. There were rust spots everywhere in the bed. I was hauling a 25 lb vise to my buddies house, someone pulled out in front of me, and BAM! vise shaped dent in the front of my bed. Why? Because it became a speeding projectile sliding on that damn plastic liner. I got the dent fixed, and the next day had a Linex installed. I have never had another thing slide, not matter what it is. I had them go up over the bed rails and the tailgate, and now I don't have to worry about scratching anything getting things in and out of the bed. The spray on's will cost you about $500, but believe me, it is the best investment you will every make. Besides they are guaranteed for life. If they crack, peel, or anything like that, you take it back and they fix it for free. And even if you tear it, you take it back and it might cost you $20 for them to totally fix the tear, and you will never know it happened. So not that I am biased or anything, but forget the plastic drop in crap and get the spray on.

Message: Absolutely correct! I have a rhino. It cost $360 here and is worth three times that. I have no idea why trucks don't just come with it. Stuff stays where you put it and it rust proofs your bed too. If you use your truck for work its unbeatable.

Message: Do you have any fading of the color, or losing gloss? I live in Florida, and I see some that are like flat black or whatever.

Message: I have a Rhino liner in my truck, it was there when I bought my 02 cc a year and a half ago, and I love it. It looks like it may have faded a little bit but nothing major, and I have not had one tear or nick in it since I have owned the truck. I wouldn't want anything else.

Message: they will fade. actually, that is the reason why I won't get it again. It's been tough as nails, so it's reliabilty is fine, just I liked the shiny black color it was when it was applied, now it has faded to flat black. At least with the LInex for example, it goes on flat and has nowhere to change too
2002 QC 4x4 Sport Plus, 4.7L, auto, Patriot Blue, Tire & Handling group, Heavy Duty Service group, Leer cap w/out windows, Mopar Step bars and roof rack, Rhino liner in bed and on step bars, Pace Edwards Power Tailgate lock 3.55 rear, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, all possible fluids are AMSOIL

Message: My 2K RT had a Rhino liner in it when I bought it last May. The liner on the bed had faded to a flat black, while the bed rails were still shiney. I took the truck to a Rhino dealer, and they told me to use this "detailer" spray on the liner to shine it up. They also make a product called "Rhino shine", which the dealer said didn't work too well, and peels off after a while.
The detailer spray didn't work too well. It was spotty after I applied it. So, I washed down the bed really well and dried it out. Then I used some formula 2001 tire shine on the liner. It has worked well, and restored the luster to the liner. However, it has also made the liner somewhat slippery, so it doesn't grip quite as well. The only alternative to this would be a $300+ respray.

Message: Yeah they do fade some. Mine has turned to that flat black, but who really cares. I didn't get it to look pretty. I got it to protect my bed from all the crap I throw in there. And it has performed that job perfectly. So if you want something that is going to be shiny forever, then get it painted and never put anything in the bed. Even the plastic ones will fade and turn chalky. So IMO I would rather have a slightly faded spray-on that did the job.

Message: how's the weight though??
i figured since trucks are ass light, then it would make it more weight balanced.
or can you feel it weigh the back end down too much??

Message: There is no noticeable difference. It doesn't squat the truck or anything. The stuff is really alot lighter than you would imagine. I really doesn't weigh it down at all.
