ok i hava 90 dak 4x4 with318 mag
my problem is that ever since i owned my truck my girl friend complains of cold feet in the winter time. there seems to be a very bad cold air (outside air) leak comming from up inside the passanger side of the dash, i tried as i may to find where its coming form but cant find it.....
does anyone else have or has had this problem
where the heck is it leaking !!!!
help mew fix or my girl wont ride with me

ok i will mention that i am a mechanic. and no the heater core is good its not that the fan is blowing cold air , there is a outside air leak into the pass side of the dash, like up and underneath, do these trucks have an outside air vent that can be opened and closed??

Without ever having the same vehicle etc, I can't help you locate your leak, but I will say that she would love ya to death if ya bought her a 12volt electric blanket. And tell her that you at least want to do this for her until you can find the air leak.Even better if you hook it to one of the aux outputs of your alarm system or remote start so that you can have it all warmed before she gets in. An inexpensive relay "picked" by the aux output and fed from the cig lighter circut that only operated with the engine running would allow remote operation.
