Hey Lesley, I bought a sportz tent second hand from a guy and i absolutly love it.. it's much better than sleeping on the ground. Also you can go about 35-40mph with it still set up in the bed.
Also they cost about the same as a pup tent you put on the ground.. i've got pic's of what they look like in the back of a CC Dak..

Thanks for the affirmation - I thought it looked like a pretty cool idea & I'd love to get in some camping while there's still some summer left!

I've got a chest tool box in my bed. I have the regular size bed but the tool box takes up the front 18-20 inches. I've seen these before and have always wanted one, do you think I could make it work??? Is yours for a DAK, I've only seen them for full sizes or mini trucks?

I don't belive that you would be able to set up this tent in a truck w/ a tool box. they are fit to the bed.

Hay these tents are great and I think they can work with a tool box if you make a brace for it. Go to WWW.tentsontrucks they have more info on them.

There are lots of web sites for them if you do a search. Maybe one for a smaller truck bed such as the Ranger would fit, they do make one for it.
