The rears should fit without any problems but I don't think the fronts will. I have seen a gen2 with R/T look a likes on them but I don't know how since 235s rub when at lock on mine. I guess they don't need to turn or have an inch and a half less backspacing? I have been trying to find out the answer for 8 months without any luck. :(

American Racing equiptment makes a wheel that looks exactly like the R/T wheel. I have checked pricing too and the ARE wheels are only like $120 a piece brand new for the same size as the R/T wheel.

Hope this helps

I see at www.tirerack.com they have some painted rims called "Sport Edition 2105" that resemble the R/T rims that will fit a 92.

hey boys the rims do fit!!!
I am running the mopar acessories R/T rims(17x9)with 255/55/17 tires I do haves light rubbing on the frame when wheel is fully turned butit's not that bad. Heres how I did it

To fix the rim clearnce issue I had to grind about 1/4 inch along the entire
top of the A arm to the width of the Rim
Remember that when the truck is on the ground the A arms go up so if it
appears it has enough clearance when you have it on jacks it might not be
enough. to truly check you have to install the wheel take truck of the jack
and compress the shock to make the A arm go up. (compress the shock by
pushing on the fender down) With The R/T rims i also have rubbing on the
frame when turning full lock to lock. It rubs on the plastic inner fender
protector. I think it is well worth it .

To fix the dust cap thing remove rim/dustcap push the cotter pin out of the
way grind down the spindle until you are about 1/8 inch from the holes where
the cotter pin goes through put the dust cap back on pound it down flat with
a hammer

I know this all sounds barbaric but i got all this info from a Mechanic who
owns a 92 with R/T rims who said the A arms will be fine and grinding down
the spindle is OK

Or use 5/16" spacers. No grinding, dust caps fit, and no rubbing. Only drawback is, your local machine shop will have to make you a pair, because nobody sells them. Cost me $20 for the pair. Email me for questions.

I know that R/T rims are 6 lug. I'm not sure if 92 is a 5 lug or a 6

The Dakota R/T rim is 17x9 and it fits a 1992 with a few alterations but nothing major as for using a spacer you could do that but you risk lug failure do to the stress at the base of the Brake Rotor also putting more stress on the wheel bearings.I run the 255/55/17 with only minimal rubbing on the frame rail. Hopefully this helps you out JT PS If you need any advice just EMAIL me. And I'll be glad to help you out.
