Message: Help, just bought beautiful truck, 54,000 miles, runs like crap. Motor surges sometimes, violent
jerking, sometimes, feels like something is holding the motor back, sometimes.Go figure!!
Replaced idle control sensor, engine light goes on and off at random. Exaust seems a little loud to me but previous owner says character of truck.
Also, hard to pump gas into, have to do it slowly.
5-speed, runs great, sometimes. Attitude problem or major mechanical defect? All suggestions appreciated.
Message: Interesting you say hard to pump gas into. There may be a problem with the the tube that vents air so that you can fill the tank. Go to the dealer and have it checked out.
