 Subject: Tech question

I am looking to repalce my original tires on my 03 dakota. I have 255/65/16 on there now. I want to go with the BFG AT T/A KO but the only size they make close to mine is 255/70/16 what would this do to the handling of the truck, speedometer problems or warranty problems. Any in put would be appreciated.

Speed would read slightly lower but still close enough to be within limits. You won't notice any handling and it certainly wouldn't affect the warranty. There is some tire/speedo calc out there somewhere. I'm sure someone could get the link posted for you.

Good advice from Snake, and a good choice of tire. I'll put 40,000 on those tires; then hand them down to my father in law for his truck to run for about as many miles again (I like good tread for plowing). That was with a lighter truck though, I don't expect them to last quite as long on the Dak.
