I bought a new 04 QC 4.7 Sport 4X4 w/AWD. I have put on about 1000 miles so far and have noticed that when I crank the steering wheel while pulling into a parking spot (i.e., engine is at idle rpm) the power steering stops (i.e., it looses the power steering) for a split second and then power comes back. I have checked the ps fluid and the level is okay. I have a the full warrenty but was wondering if anyone else has this problem or knows what this may be. I don't want to take it to the dealership just yet because it does not happen all the time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
