 Subject: Steering wheel radio control

Hey everyone, i got my other problem fixxed finally after costing me 2-O2 sensors (about $130) and now i have more problems. This time just mostly cosmetic. Today when i was driving i pushed the button to turn up the volume and my thing lets go and falls off. I took a look at it and tried to see if i could put it back on but i see it is broken. Anyone know where i can find this part? hopefully on line if possible? Thanks for any help!!!

Your thing fell off? Ouch that musta hurt. I think I'd have passed out. Judging by the way your write, you must be a Doctor. That would explain why you tried to re-attach your thing.
Maybe it's for the better... you can't breed without a "thing".

Thanks for being a jerk. Unless you read way too much into what I actually said I didn’t ask for every idiot on the board to respond being a smart a$$. All I asked for is a little help, and obviously you are unable to do that, in which case I would rather keep your worthless comments to yourself. gregdakota, you really are an ass. Your original post makes very little sense. You ask for help but you give little to no detail, then when someone makes fun of you for giving little detail you get all pissed off. I mean how do you possibly expect people to tell you where you can find a "thing?"

It is pretty obvious to me. The steering wheel radio control button fell off. I assume the housing cracked? I don't think a dealer sells the button mounts separately. You will probably have to find a junkyard wheel or get one off ebay. You should rhen be able to swap out the broken button.

Wow, this whole forum has really gone to crap. When I originally came on here a couple years ago there was a lot less of the people just putting on messages to make themselves feel good about their meaningless life. Today most everyone on here only posts a bunch of crap that does not help anyone, and here I thought those kinds of people drove fords. Must be wrong I guess. Why even reply to someone’s question if all you are going to do is try to make fun of them or the situation...I realize I could have called it something better then a "thing" but damn I didn’t realize that most people posting on here were only 14. You people that come on here to make fun of how I said "thing" need to grow up. The context that I used "thing" in shows what it is, I push the volume control button and the thing falls off....I must be talking about that thing in my crotch right? Idiots. Thanks for the help to those who are obviously older then 14 and mature mentally.
