I just discovered this last night while looking in the engine compartment. It's a male three-prong plug near the radiator shield on the passenger side. Is this the plug for an engine block heater or oil warmer?

Thanks for all your help as always,

David

Are you saying this is a "standard" 3-prong household power connector?

If so... follow the wire... it will likely go along the frame behind the front-passenger wheel and terminate in one of the freeze-plug areas of the engine. This is a block heater... I orderd mine from the factory and it works very well.

Bruce,

Yeah, a standard 3-prong and it does look like it runs in the manner you say, but I'll check it out over the weekend. You're probably right, because this was a Canada truck. I hear it gets cold in them there parts.

Regards,

David
