Subject: Temp. Sensor IP: Logged
Message: Hello all,
I have a 2000 Dakota with the SLT Plus group. I have the center console on the headliner of the cab. My only problem with it is I did not get the temp and compass sensor with the console. I want to replace that dorky clip. My question is----Does anyone have directions on how to install the wireing for the sensor. I plan on buying it all from a junk yard from a totaled Dakota. Since it cost 800 bucks to do it after market from the dealer. 600 for wireing and 200 for the head unit. Any help would be great.

Message: if the 2000 is like my 99 it appears that the rest of the wires terminate in a factory splice somewhere around the drivers side windshield post
and the plugs and the rest of the wires are not installed. if i am reading the diagrams correctly.
