These people on this board take a long time to respond. The best thing to do is go geta Haynes repair manual or other repair manual. It shows just about everything possible.

I myself have a 99 5.2 and have removed my airbox. There is one bolt and one clip holding it in. Just undo the plastic clip holding the snorkel to the fender, then remove the bolt near at the back of the airbox and then pull. There is one more clip in the bottom of the box that slips over a stud coming out of the fender. Just pull, it will come out, and nothing will break.

When removing panels and such, always remember that those little plastic retaining clips and buttons can be replaced with new ones for pennies from an autoparts store. I'm not sure how involved removing your 5.2 box is, but the 4.7's is a cinch.

Always keep in mind, if a auto factory worker put
it on, it WILL come off!

Have a nice day! :)
