Message: I like the idea of the folding cover, no snaps, take it off to haul stuff, ect. I think they changed a little over the last couple years, anyone that bought one from dodge this year, let me know how you like it. Thanks.

Message: I don't have the dealer one, but do have a Peragon (www.peragon.com) folding hard cover. They work well, but do take up a little of the volume of the bed, and while they help minimize moisture in the bed, they are not watertight. But, they look good and are easy to open and close.

Message: According to the www.truck-bed-covers.com website, Fold-a-Cover Hard Folding Tonneau is being sold through dealerships as the OEM hard folding tonneau. IMHO, the Advance Covers are superior to the Fold-A-Cover and the Peragon (Peragon does not lock the tailgate. You have to buy an aftermarket tailgate lock.)

"Fold-a-Cover is weather, rust, and corrosion resistant, a few qualities that contribute to its long product life. Also, Fold-a-Cover is offered as a co-branded aftermarket product by two of the world's largest pickup manufacturers, GMC and Chrysler-Daimler, a fact that contributes greatly to its popularity."

Message: Bought the fold-a-cover through DC in 2001 for my Dakota QC. Put two strips of weatherstripping on the front and back to stop the fine dust from coming in. Completely waterproof and very versatile. No regrets.

Message: Thanks for the info. everyone, it's a big help. Hey Peter, one question, does your fold-a-cover lift completely off or is it permanently attached to the one section? Thanks again.
