When I move the switch over to turn the air on, nothing happens at all. I am thinking that there is a blown fuse, or either a fuse missing from under the dash. I just bought the truck from someone else. Could someone possibly post a fuse diagram. I do not have the owners manual. This is putting me into a jam. Thanks to all in advance for your help!

When you say "nothing happends", you mean not even
the blower inside the cab won't even run? If that
is the case, does the blower run in "heat" mode?

If no to both questions, put blower switch in high
speed. Still won't run?, start looking for blown
fuse at fuse box under dash. I'm not sure if the
95's also had a fuse box on the left side under
the hood or not. Look to find out.

If the blower does run but the clutch on the air
cond compressor does not *snap* in, you're more
than likely low on freon.

Let me know if your blower does run or not. I can
direct you to how to *force* the compressor to run
to test it.

Happy hunting...

The blower does not come on. The compressor does "snap" in as you would say. You can hear the compressor come on, but htat is about it. It does not blow inside the cab at all. The heat blower doesn't work either.

Check the resistor pack. Located in the engine bay on the firewall, passenger side, just under the cowling. Has about 4 wires going into it. It has been known to corrode and die, resulting in no power to the blower. Part is only about $12-20 at the dealer. There is a PDC with relays in the engine bay on the drivers side. Fusebox is inside the cab under the steering wheel area.

daniel Why are you posting this to an old thread
about A/C troubles?

What year and what engine in the truck?

P.S. if your truck is an early to mid 90's most
likely the 115 wire splice.

Post the truck info (engine size and year)

Check the coolant level first. Otherwise, your
heater core is likely clogged.

Feel both heater hoses, one should be very hot and
the other slightly cooler.

You might try backflushing it. Remove both hoses,
hook it up to a hose and flush it both directions.
