Does the trip meter reset to zero when the battery is disconnected? I just installed fog lights and noticed that my MPG went from 14 to 10. The only thing I can think of is that when I disconnected the battery, the trip meter went back to zero. There has been no other performance difference.

i dont have the overhead console, not have i changed the battery on my dak. From my past experience with other vehicles though, yes it did reset the trip odo
