Subject: Help please?!?! IP: Logged
Message: It is hard to explain this noise. It sort of sounds like a kid chewing on a piece of rubber. Like a squishing noise in my wheel well. Every time my wheels makes a rotation it makes a "squish" like something is really tight, or there is alot of pressure on something. I tried with the brakes compressed and depressed. The brakes do seem to change the noise a little bit but it does not go away. My truck is a 97 4x4. Any ideas would be great thanks!

Message: I had a car once that made a similar noise whenever the wheel rotated. Could never seem to re-create it in the garage, though. It eventually turned out to be a loose wheel weight.

Check to see that the front plastic flap has not popped out and started to rub against your wheel.
