i agree with jeremy, i hate to see daks done up in mags like truck'n. it just gives others the idea to sell their s10 and do up a dakota. i like to be origional.

I understand about originallity, that is onething that drew me to mopars in the first place when I bought my 68 sattelight convertable. You go anywhere Main st USA you will see 5 Brand x cars in different stages of repair but only one Mopar.
I dont think a Dakota Magazine would less the individuality that we have with our trucks. When I first was bit by the car craze I devoured every car magazine I could get Mopar Performance, Mopar Muscle etc, when I decided I wanted a 4x4 I started to read 4x4 magazines, the only problem with the latter is that they are all the same, same stories about every six months.They really became bogus in a short time.
The idea for a Dakota Magazine is not to encourage others to buy the vehicle but to help others. I have been reading everyones posts here in the forums and I thought, while this is a good way for everyone to communicate about topics that concern them, I want to see everyones truck. You go to the pics there's no data on what everyone has done. My quest for better fog lights that I document in another section of the forum could be an aritcle, if we could get TSB and Recal info we could print that, maybe even start a Dakota Rally where everyone with a Dakota could drive and meet.
