Message: The flasher is either the big round or square "fuse" under the dash on the fuse panel on the drivers side. It's usually silver in color. It's pretty obvious it's not your normal auto fuse. When mine went out, i would get different behavior. Sometimes the lights would come on, sometimes not. Sometimes they would flash and all lights would go out ,sometimes flash and all lights stay on. They're dirt cheap ,can't hurt to start with that first.

Message: Dan:
I don't think the old style flasher applies. None of the auto parts list it and it seems that Dodge is the only one that has it. Its a $30 item and doesn't seem to be in the fuse box area. I am scratching my head because I was looking for the old round flasher unit myself. Apparently the newer Dodges have something different.

Message: If the 2000 is the same as the 2002, then the flasher unit is a small box about 2"x3"x1" that is mounted under the panel under the steering wheel. It is on the left of the steering column from the drivers seat. Some people (me) have had a problem with the indicators going crazy doing things like indicating left but left and right both coming on but okay on right indication only. There is a couple of chips inside the box that take the signals from the indicator and hazard button and then turn on the respective relays but with the bad chips all crazy things happen. Do a search under indicators and you will get more information.
