Is there any way to check the build date of a truck besides inside the drivers door? Can you do it with the VIN number? I need to find out when my truck rolled off the assembly line but I dont have it in the same city as me at the moment. Thanks

If you have the VIN your friendly neighborhood 5 Star dealer should be able to get the build date by running a build sheet from their service dept. computer system.
