Hello,
I recently bought an '02 Dakota Sport QC. Was wondering if anyone remembers what trim packages were available in '02. Most manufacturers use "Sport" models for their lower-end products, using the "Sport" tag to dress them up. I don't think this is the case with the Dakota, though. I can't imagine a truck having more accesories than the one I bought. It has a LSD, tow package, AWD, leather seats, 6-disc changer... even heated mirrors. Any info would be appreciated.
P.S. I've been lurking on this site for a few days... can't wait for the ball joint - front brake games to begin for me shortly :-(

Base, Sport, Sport Plus, SLT, SLT Plus
Sport and SLT are appearance packages and the Plus adds the convenience features like power everything.
By the sounds of it you have a Sport Plus.

There's another package below sport - SXT ? Still no ball joint problems here - you might have to wait patiently.

That's right. The SXT package was added in '02 below sport.
