 Subject: Scratches?

What is the best solution for getting rid of surface scratches, and preventing them? I have a 2000 Intense Blue R/T, and it really gripes me that somehow i keep getting scratches. Anyone with an answer let me know.

A good high speed polish will take them out. But be carefull, you can easily burn through the paint.
As for preventing them, it depends on the cause. Commonly, people don't wash the paint correctly. If it's pretty dirty, you should run it through a no-touch car wash first to get the big stuff off. Otherwise, as soon as you start hand washing, you're grinding the dirt into the paint. I have a decent (not great) power washer. I hose it down with that first, then do it by hand to get it really clean.
