They just showed the 2005 Dakota on car and driver , what a god awfull ugly truck , and definately no Hemi , will not fit between frame says Dodge . This new Dakota will only come in Club cab and Quad cab formats , no standard cab design due to low previous sales . Towing capability has been upped though , to 7100 pounds . I'm gonna stick with my 02 Q-cab 4x4 .

i dont like them, i say it at carlisle last july. they are ugly, but thats just my opinion

2005 Club Cab weighs 300 pounds more than a 2004; but Quad Cab 4x4 only 60 pounds more. I guess the "third door" is the CC's extra weight.

I like everything except the nose. I understand why they did it, function over form. But it's still ugly.
