Subject: Air Bag Error IP: Logged
Message: I wrecked my 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad cab, which caused the air bags to deploy. I have since replaced the airbags and the clockspring in the steering wheel but the air bag light is still on. Is there a way to reset this? I tried disconnecting the battery for quite a while but light always comes right back on.

Message: Usually, they're mounted on/behind the bumper. There may
also be as many as 3 sensors. Whether this is your trouble, I'm
not sure, but it may be a possibility. You may also want to do an
internet search or call a dealer to find out if anything needs to
be reset (such as the ECU or airbag control module)
