 Subject: jumped terminals in ODBII port

yes, I'm a dumba$$. I jumped some of the terminals in the diagnostic link as if it were the older 12 terminal ECM instead of the 16pin OBDII to try and retrieve trouble codes. Obviously it did nothing except make a spark or two, so I disconnected the battery and reset the computer. But when I reconnected the batt and started the engine, the check engine light was off, but the ABS light was on. The fuse for this checked out OK, so what do you think I broke?
P.S. I will always check a manual in the future.
