Hoping for some feedback from anyone who has ever ordered parts from Racenet Performance Parts in Houston, TX.
I ordered from these guys several weeks ago, and at the time of order was told that it would take about a week for them to receive the parts, then 5 days shipping to me. When I called to check about 9 days after the original order, they said they hadn't received them yet, but would have them the following Wednesday. I called again on the following Thursday, and was told 'no parts yet, be in by Friday'. Again, calling on the following Monday, got the same story, 'they'll be here on Wednesday'. This has happened 6 times now!! Everytime, the same guy says they'll be in in a couple of days, and he's starting to sound like a broken record.
The Better Business Bureau shows a couple of complaints against them in the last year, but I know that can be pretty normal. IF they had a dozen complaints or more, I would be more alarmed at this point. Just want to know if they're just a scam operation, if I'm ever going to get the parts, or if I need to contact not only the BBB but the Houston Sheriff's Department as well.
Anyone else dealt with Racenet??
