Message: I recently bought a 04 dak quad and I love it.
It's less than a month old and it's got tons of
scratches on it. I guess serves me right I got
black but it is so sharp.
It seems that the more that I try to clean it/keep it nice the more scratches I get.
I just gotta let it go?
Message: are they fine scratches? if they are use scratch/swirl remover (personally I use meguiar's.) The scratching may actually be from washing. sponges carry dirt and sand on their surface scratching the paint as you wash. you can stop this by using a wash mitt (made from a fleece/wool type material) which "absorbs" the dirt into the fibers keeping it off of the paint. If you really want it to look sharp get some zaino bros. products and use that. its a little expensive but its the only way to go if youre serious.
