I recently bought a 04 dak quad and I love it.
It's less than a month old and it's got tons of
scratches on it. I guess serves me right I got
black but it is so sharp.
It seems that the more that I try to clean it/keep it nice the more scratches I get.
I just gotta let it go?

are they fine scratches? if they are use scratch/swirl remover (personally I use meguiar's.) The scratching may actually be from washing. sponges carry dirt and sand on their surface scratching the paint as you wash. you can stop this by using a wash mitt (made from a fleece/wool type material) which "absorbs" the dirt into the fibers keeping it off of the paint. If you really want it to look sharp get some zaino bros. products and use that. its a little expensive but its the only way to go if youre serious.

If your truck is new and has lots of fine scratches already you must be using Dish soap or something to wash it with. Dont do that!

Use Zaino http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=Z&Category_Code=APPLICATION

Read that and stick to it and you will be very happy.

I have tons of scratches from off roading and this is the best stuff I have found but everyone has their preferences.

My truck, new in 1998, came with very fine scratches -- I think the Dodge boys just get carried away with the rotary buffer.
