All,
Does anyone know true to life 1/4 mile times of a 2003 Dodge Dakota Stampede (4.7 liter) vs. a 2002 R/T. I've tried to look online but I can't find any specific trap times (w/o modification). I have a 2003 Stampede with a Flowmaster and was wondering what times I could pull if I went to the track. Thx

Also,
If I did take the truck to the track, what pressure should I run in the rear tires (P255/65/R16)? The tires regularly run @ 35 psi, would I gain an advantage deflating them to 30psi? Thanks again.

Do a good burnout, make sure your tires are dry and drop the pressure to 32. Try not to light 'em up on the launch, you're just wasting time. Don't shift manually either, let the tranny do it. After a few runs, you'll probably want slicks to keep the spinning down.
