Subject: Paint Problem... help IP: Logged
Message: Is it even possible to eliminate orange peel if your using spray cans? I'm having a hell of a time here, ever since my air compressor broke.

Message: Next best to an air compressor is an electric Wagner sprayer. They do an excellent job.

Message: Once it's on the panel, it's too late. You can do a few things to prevent it, though. Make absolutly sure the temp is at least 70F, the paint, the air and whatever your painting. Follow directions on the can.
To remove orange peal wet sanding will be required. If your using a two stage paint (base/clear) and the peal is in the base, wet sand with 1500 or 2000 before clear is applied. If it's in the clear, let it cure for at least a day then 2000 wet to remove the peal and then rubbing compound and pollishing compound, then swill remover: your done.
Good luck.
