 Subject: Steering issue

I have a 1993 Dakota 5.2L 2WD. Often when turning right I notice as the steering wheel is returning it will "stick". I have to actually turn it back straight. The only way I can describe the way the wheel feels is that it feels like there is a notch that it gets stuck on. Any ideas? Thanks.

I haven't had the problem on a Dakota, but I did have a Dodge Daytona many years ago that did that, and the problem was a "stretched" steering rack. In other words, the rack had to be replaced, then the problem went away.
