Message: I have an '04 Dakota Sport 2wd CC. The handling in the wet/dry and in the rain/snow suck with the current 16" Goodyear Eagles. I just purchased a set of 17" OEM R/T wheels. I wanted to go with either 275/60SR17 (About 18 types to choose from Tire Rack - Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 were rated best of the bunch) or 265/60HR17 (About 3 types to choose from Tire Rack - Kumho ECSTA STX were best of the 3). What are you guys using with the 17" R/T wheels and which combo works the best (with no rubbing)? I live over in Northern Va. and it snows maybe 3-5 times per winter so I need a good all-season tire.

Message: I've been using Bridgestone dueller HP, 275/55R17 for about 4 months. I don't have snow here but plenty of rain and the traction is excellent in wet or dry. I have those tires on a 1999 Dakota R/T with hotchkis suspension and have had no rubbing problems.
