 Subject: Rear end sealing?

Gasket or RTV? Which do you prefer? A fel-pro gasket seems to be the way to go. What are the pros & cons?
What about with synthetic oils? Anyone have any leakage problems with RTV or similar product? What about with gaskets?

have sealed mine up with rtv every time ive taken the cover off, works just fine and have never had a single leak, and thats with both regular and synthetic oil (amsoil the last time)
