Subject: Kickback in steering
IP: Logged

Message:
I've had my 2000 RT RC for about 4 months now. I've had two alignment shops look at the front end and they both said everything is fine. The truck has been aligned, and has new Bilstein shocks on the front. However, on certain sharp bumps, I get some kick back in the steering. It's especially noticeable at freeway speeds. Tonight I grabbed the intermediate steering shaft to see if it has any play. I could only barely feel the slightest amount of play. Any ideas on what is causing the kickback? The steering really doesn't feel loose. I have Michelin LTXs on all 4 wheels. Thanks!
