4 years old and they finally decided to hook the machine up to my obdii port. Thought some might like to know custom flashed PCM was not detected. It also seems the machine doesn't mind a stored mil code as long as it isn't actively displayed in the dash ( I get a p0138 once in a while from a taped up wire to an O2 sensor that an animal chewed through, cleared from dash but still in memory ). At least 17 states use similar test equipment. Time to get that flash you've been wanting ?

I'm ashamed to admit I still do - I know that's another 5 hp right there. They never looked for it though if that's what you're wondering, and the inspection place I went to has a reputation for being tough. Since many avoid it for that reason, I didn't have to wait in line.
