I watched a show on Horsepower TV that they did
that. If I remember, it was a *kit*. The kit I
seen them put on was true fuel injected, not
the older EFI systems.

I'm sure it was not cheep!

Good luck...

It's getting to be a pretty common swap. I plan on doing this to my '66 Mustang.

How easy it is depends on what you're working on. If it's a '66 Mustang V8, it's a bolt in swap using factory Ford parts; shouldn't take more than a week of your spare time. Other cars may be more difficult, and require some fabrication.

Start by getting the entire driveline - water pump to tail shaft. Make sure to get the wiring harness and computer. If it's a similar engine (like a '75 318 for a '95 318), it should physically drop right in and mount up to the factory points.

You'll have to get imaginative running the wiring harness and mounting the computer, which may need to be under the dash.

The fuel system can be a hassle. You need a feed and return line. You can use an EFI pump on a carb, but you can't use and carb pump on EFI. So you'll have to use an electric pump of some kind, with appropriate filters and lines. AN lines and fittings are a little expensive, but I find them easiest to work with.
