I have a 4.7 dakota 5 speed. I dont know much about cars and I thought that the manual transmission didnt even have transmission fluid. But my manual says it does but i dont know where or how to check it, can anyone help me out on this? And one more thing, does my truck have any grease fittings underneath it? thanks

Sadly, there are no grease fittings under your
truck. This is why you gotta keep a very close
eye and ear on your ball joints. When you hear
poping or cracking, have them checked right away.

Your manual transmission does not have a *dip*
stick like you are use to on a automatic. There
is a fill plug on the side of the tranny. If you
have never checked a manual trannys fluid before,
get someone to show you how. It's easy once you
see it done.

Did you buy it new?
