Message: ok, so opinion time: What is the largest tire size that can fit on the stock 15x6 steel rim? The stock tire is a 215/70R15, which makes the truck look like a toy. I saw a nifty 68 Dodge GTX (with a very nice 440 six pack)last week with 255/70R15 on stock steel rims, but I dont know if they are 6 inch or 8 inch rims.
I dont need 255's but I gotta get something to make my truck look less like the friggin delivery truck for the local Hondon't Dealer down the road!

the tire is recommended for a 6-7 inch rim which means a bit towards the low limit but well within safe width

Message: 10 inches wide, eh? Are the sidewalls on a wicked angle, or does it sit relatively flat on the sides?
That sounds like the tire for me though. Whats the make?
