 Subject: squeaky brakes

Is there any way to solve the squeaky brake issue short of replacing pads or rotors? I bought my '02 QC 4x4 with 26K on it and immediately had to have the rotors turned (dealer I bought it from actually did it for free). I have 35K on it now and so far no vibrating stops or pulsing pedal, but the fronts squeak about 30-40% of the time.

Welcome to the "Dakota squeaky brakes" club. Really common problem on these things. Replaced the calipers on my truck and it solved my problem. Now I've developed a high pitched squeak that's comes off and on...thinking brake line.
